oh gurll how i agree with the rapping one!!! i mean, yeah MANY kpop stans dont know anything about rapping, they'd without hesitance say fast singing is rapping. Rapping, too, is a form of art. And although im not an expert, i'd still say i know somethings about it since i've been listening to it since years. Rapping requires a lot of effort, for the lyrics and style, even the rhyme schemes and most importantly word play. Metaphors, oxymorons, onomatopoeia, etc make it soooooooooo good and you know a rapper knows his/her work when you can feel the awe at their choice of words.A good message and a hook should be the must of rapping(so many ppl think rapping is all about speaking fast about their lifestyles and prettiness and money BUT IT IS NOT!!!) Kpop stans dont know much about rap and call everyone who sings fast a legendary rapper(sigh). i remember, once Fatou (a member of blackswan) said that BTS knows what they rap and "this is what you call rapping, not speaking fast"(i dont know the exact words) and a number of fandoms were offended when she didnt even mention anyone else's name. Its as if they know what their faves rap and how its just fast speaking but are unable to accept the truth. And because they dont exactly know rapping, many rappers (who are popular but not exactly for their raps, like- ppl say their rap is good but that is based on their speed and not actually thier pen game, when irl their pen game is superior) are not given enough appreciation. They dont even know what rapping actually requires and would straight up start insulting good rappers while trying to uplift their idols who just sing whatever they're given without analyzing. This is one of the big reasons of fanwars or the bad image of kpop stans.

I know everyone has seen this a lot any time, an idol says the n-word, does a blaccent, or mocks black and African people, everyone immediately runs to their side, and tells black people that what they do isn't big of a deal and that they should get over it, they tell us we are over dramatic, and say that, the idol's don't know english and they don't know better. But let a person mock Korean culture and everyone is outraged... rightfully. But seriously they act like those toxic parents who are overly obsessed with their kids, and think they can do no wrong. Another thing is, I've noticed that a lot of kpop fans are soooo freaking racist, like have you heard about the #keepkpopkorean "movement" that they started??????

So many great songs! So many excellent performances! I appreciated everything they did which was a lot! A lot of heard work and talent.. very enjoyable to listen and watch .. , got a LOT of entertainment out of the group! I don't call that a flop. Sorry I just don't. I watch all their songs all the time.. they are in my play list! 2024!!!!

19:06 I completely agree with this opinion, I'm not the biggest Midzy but the way JYP is handling Lia's hiatus is so weird. One particular hiatus that comes to mind is the one from Dreamcather's Handong. She was on a year on hiatus (because she was in China for a survival show and covid hit) and even so, the first comeback without her, "Scream", they included a "masked" dancer in the choreography making up the 7th missing member's place which let fans know that Handong al tho absent, was still a part of Dreamcather.

Adding to your point about harmonizing and how it elevates a song, I really hate when songs have members sing one after another AND each member sings the same part multiple times in the song. Like at least switch up who sings each line to spice it up a little bit

I think Enhypen is the only 4th gen boy group I actively seek out and listen to. I'm mostly a girl group listener, and Enhypen is the only boy group whose music I find actually GOOD, with a good variety, which I do not find in other 4th gen boy groups. In other groups, the music and concepts tend to be repetitive, very aggressive, and kind of outdated. Boy group music (quality, producing and lyrics wise) is a either hit or a miss, and now that girl groups are getting the recognition they deserve (with better quality and coverage than in the past), boy groups are kind of fading. They need to set themselves apart, or they just blend together and become one single picture. This is why I enjoy Enhypen's discography and music-they actively switch up their sound while maintaining a certain image that is distinct and just THEIRS, like the whole vampire concept that set them apart and actually made people seek them out. (This is just my opinion on the matter, and my personal preferences)
